As of Aug. 1st 25 Societies have opposed the amendment, one supports it and a few have taken positions to remain neutral (but inform members of the controversy)

Loyal Opposition to the Proposed 2016 Constitutional Changes 
The Administrative Committee of CIS passed a motion, on July 24, stating that the Societ is against the amendment and to recommend that CIS members vote NO.
